My favourite time of day is when I wake up.

I never know what to expect of my day, but I always feel like something amazing will happen to me.

Will I decide to finally book my trip?

Will I get to spend some quality time with loved ones?

Will I have time to write a new blog post?

Will I finally manage to land Taylor Swift’s The Eras concert tickets?

Now that’s called being delusional, I know. But a girl can always dream.

I have no idea what will happen to me, and it is exhilerating. It keeps me on my toes, but it also helps me recognize the little joys throughout my day. The happiness I feel when I see my neighbor’s cat. The joy of conversing with my sister. The warmth of a hug from a loved one.

The little things spread out in my day are what make me so happy, and I can’t wait to see what’s to come tomorrow.
